About Chrissie Wanless

Chrissie Wanless Facilitator and Coach

Chrissie is a learning-experience creator, facilitator and coach. She works with her clients globally to create and deliver world-class youth, leadership and team development programmes. She uses a warm yet rigorous approach to help unlock the self-belief and confidence in all those she works with – to help them all be seen.

Chrissie’s 20+ years of experience has seen her work with many of the world’s leading brands – from ASOS, Capgemini, Exterion Media, Orange and Lynk & Co to Spotify, NGA HR, Sony Music, The Birley Clubs and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. She proudly partnered with adidas to co-create and implement their Manager & Director Development Experiences (MDE & DDE). These learning experiences were described by her client as ‘the hottest ticket in town – selling out quicker than an Adele concert’.

Chrissie is particularly interested in the topics of growth mindset, ‘the inner critic’, diversity and inclusion, and communicating for connection rather than competition. She always champions the building of trust and psychological safety, and the importance of appreciating our differences and uniqueness. She is proud that the work she does leads to the improved performance and growth of individuals, teams and organisations.

Chrissie has spent years honing her skills as a learning expert: she has a BSc in Sociology & Social Psychology, a Masters in HR, and is a CIPD award winner for ‘outstanding contribution’. She trained in facilitation and coaching practice (with Gestalt, the Coaches Training Institute, & ORSC) and is a practitioner in many psychometric assessments (including Hogan and Leadership Versatility Index). Chrissie is currently embarking on a neuroscience qualification: she believes that understanding our neuro chemistry, triggers and reactions can help us to explore and express ourselves, and to connect more effectively with each other.

When Chrissie is not helping people around the world be seen, you can find her walking her miniature schnauzer Frankie, playing football and tennis, coaching the local girls’ football team and appreciating architecture and interior design. She is also a staunch supporter of the LGBTQI+ community.
